SINSABAUGH SENSABAUGH BOOKSTAVER YOUNGBLOOD (8/4/98) In 19th century Orange County, NY histories it is mentioned that in 1735 Jacob Bookstaver, Johannis Youngblood and Frederick Sensebach (Sinsabaugh) bought a tract of land from William Sharpus of New York City. The track of land was apparently in the area on the Orange County / Ulster County border, and may have originally been in Ulster County. I have looked through the Ulster and Orange County grantor and grantee indices available through the local FHC trying to find the original deed, but to no avail. There were other siblings. Susanna and Conrad CROEK apparently moved to Kingston from elsewhere, perhaps New Jersey or Philadelphia. Does anyone know where they came from? James R. ZIMMERMAN, Joseph 1/29/99 Looking for ancestors or family of Joseph ZIMMERMAN, born 1817 in Baden, Germany, immigrated to New York, then moved to Plattekill (was theree in the 1880 Census), then lived in Walden, next door to his brother, John ZIMMERMAN I believe he had a son named Otis.
