    18. BARCLAY - 6/02/00 -- I am a direct descendant of James Barkley who came over on the ship the George and Anne in 1729. Some of his descendants, both Barkleys, Barclays, and married daughters (Crawfords) live in Ulster County ,N.Y. from 1750 to 1840 or thereabouts. Am interested in hearing from anyone recognizing any aspect of this genealogical relationship in their genealogy. James had six children who lived to adulthood, and all married. They were Samuel (from whom I am directly descended); John;James;William;Thomas; and Margaret. One of Samuel's children married a Robert S. Crawford for example. So too the John, a son of the first James, Samuel's brother married Mary Crawford, the dau of James and Jean Crawford circa 1763-65. In total I know of 11 intermarriages with Crawfords, but that is all I have. Would be interested in any information about either the Barclays but also especially the Crawford line. Believe the Crawfords were Presbterians and emmigrated with the Barclays as part of the Clinton Party from Ireland, County Longford in 1729. Thank you. My regular post address is now Luogh North, Doolin, County Clare, Republic of Ireland. I am a former New Yorker from Westchester County now retired here close to his roots if you will. 69. CARSON - (05/21/2000) -- Daniel CARSON son of Johannes CARSON and Ann KROM, married Sarah FROST on 06 June 1806 in Marbleton Reformed Dutch Church, Stone Ridge, Town of Marbleton, Ulster Co, NY. Did Johannes CARSON and Anna KROM have other children? Daniel CARSON and Sarah FROST had a son named George P. F. CARSON in 1821, could have been named after George P. FROST. They also had other children: Sarah Ann in 1804, Matty Gosline in 1805, and Daniel Coddington in 1811. I'm thinking there had to be more children with such large gaps between 1806 and 1811 and then again in 1821. This is a new door opened to me in my Family Tree .... any help would be appreciated on the CARSON, FROST and KROM families.John A. Aiello P.O. Box 69383; West Hollywood, CA 90069

War Pension Application File of Martiness DECKER, Service: NY File No R 7158 it lists, among other Deckers: Peter Decker born Jan. 27th, 1760 Peter Decker departed this life April 5, 1792, age 33 In the "Beamer Lore" pub. 1928 it states: " Lena BEAMER b. 1766-7 m. 1st Peter DECKER-no doubt of Deckertown, N.J., issue Mary, Naomi, Elizabeth, and Martin. On Oct 28, 1793, Lena Beamer, widow of Peter Decker, dec. married John BUCKBEE. Issue: Peter, Palmer, Eleanor...." In Admiral Benton Weaver Decker's Genealogy it lists Petrus DECKER b. 1747, son of Andries DECKER and wife nee Maul as married to Lea Beamer. Can anyone cite the proof used by the Admiral in determining this? It seems to me that Peter, son of Martiness, b. 1760 is Lea's husband and not Petrus b. 1747.
